Our Micro program starts with the basics, allowing your child to have fun while learning through interactive activities. At this level, we encourage coaches to allow players to touch the ball as much as possible. There are no formal field positions. This is an in-house program that typically practices once per week.

The ACYSC U8 Program is intended to introduce 6 & 7 year old players to the game of soccer. The U8 program is run “in house,” meaning there is no county-wide league to play in.  It is styled around a 4 v 4 format with no goalies. The U8 team will have the opportunity to develop fundamental skills, participate in drills, and scrimmage in 4 v 4 game play. Players will also learn what it's like to play with teammates and develop positive sportsmanship. There are opportunities to play games against other teams outside our club, towards the end of the season.

Parent Involvement

Parents are essential to the U8 program. No experience is necessary to start teaching kids the fundamentals of soccer. We need parents to help out as head coaches, assistant coaches, team parents, and field liners. If you are interested in helping, please contact Tucker Hull or Allison Page.
